So They Say 03:40
“So They Say” Say what you mean, but never what you believe. It all seems fair, when it’s gonna be the only way you keep me around, as I long just to hear the truth just for one time, come from your mouth. I tried so hard to keep myself above the wreck outside that’s been stained with love; but I let you in--that was my cardinal sin Now we fall apart again (Chorus) You say you’re sick of it, well so am I. I wanna forget all this, instead we cry. Mourn the memories, lost to time because it’s better in the end... or so they say Now while I sit and stare, my silence you can’t bear, so you fill that void; so surprised you care. But unbeknownst to me--I never thought I’d see that look upon your face of the girl I knew oh so long ago. Least I thought I did; that was just for show. A mask you keep to hide what lies below: the worst that’s here to stay You say (Chorus 2) you’re sick of it; so am I. I wanna forget all this, instead we cry. Mourn the memories, lost to time Because it’s better in the end... You’re sick of it; so am I I wanna forget all this, instead we cry. Mourn the memories, lost to time because it’s better in the end... or so they say (Bridge) Pressure builds, now it’s calling me; rising up, I can barely breathe. Sense of dread’s heavy with belief that there’s nothing left to say (Repeat) (Chorus 2)

“World on Fire” In my head, I hide disgrace. Torn apart, I long to blame the ones I loved, now far away Making good on a better life... Success--so brief, and laced with fear-- a heady venom I drink with cheer. The saviors, the martyrs--they end up here Alone and red... (Chorus) Because a world on fire, is all I see: shadows burning down, piece-by-piece. When it’s time to give the Devil his due, the dying embers will be all that’s left to be consumed All I want’s to make a better place: somewhere, you know, without a trace of the blight that feeds the wound it creates. But it’s the mark I can’t escape... (Chorus) (instrumental) Because a world on fire, is all I see: shadows burning down, piece-by-piece. And when it’s time to give the Devil his due, the dying embers will be all that’s left Yeah a world on fire, is all I see: shadows burning down, piece-by-piece. When it’s time to give the Devil his due, the dying embers will be all that’s left to be consumed

“Working Title” The tale of the broken man is never in just his hands; it’s rendered in all the plans that wither away. Still, he’s lingering on, just getting along, as the part he plays decays into a black rose memory (Chorus) Cast aside in the name, of circumstance and shame. Living in a fragment of the fate you came to claim. Beaten down and frayed by petty thoughts and blame. Bound and gagged by the prayers The heavens don’t hear anyway (Bridge) Now there’s no reason to fight - or try to - beat back the tide - it comes to - wash away your soul - and carry it - on through the night. Yeah, there’s no reason to fight - or try to - beat back the tide - it comes to - wash away your soul - and carry it - on through the night Cast aside in the name, of circumstance and shame. Living in a fragment of, the fate you came to claim. Beaten down and frayed, by petty thoughts and blame. Bound and gagged by the prayers The heavens don’t hear, No. The heavens don’t hear, No. The heavens don’t hear anyway...

Goose Step 04:29
“Goose Step” Saw where the herd was headed, chose to stand in front; locked in step against the Kingdom come. Picked my rage, and wielded it for fun; broke your back to keep you under my thumb. Seemed so easy to lose the light along the way; encroaching darkness cast it all in shades of gray. Now what’s left? No better things to come; just the remnants of what we thought we’d begun (Chorus) ‘Cause ours is not to question why; ours is but to live to die. The stains, they bleed through, beneath the truth, hiding behind the reveal of the point they came to prove Now heavy is the hand that holds the crowd, making puppets out of men who see no other way out. You can weep for the masses, blinded by fear, but there’s no laugh like one that should be tears. So we cater to whims, giving our thanks to him who claims the name “Savior;” just reminds of our sins. Pray hope will prevail, as trust begins to fail; The message lost as we drive the nail (Chorus) (Instrumental)
